Welcome to one of our favorite travel hacks, which gives you $1,235 in free travel credit, that can be used towards flights, hotels, or just about anything travel related.
How it Works
There are really just three steps. They’re simple, but some do take a bit of effort on your part. Once completed, your account will be credited with the free travel credit, and you simply redeem it with just a couple clicks.
Step 1
Apply for the Capital One Venture Card.
You do need good/excellent credit to be approved for this card, but you never know unless you try.
There is an annual fee of $95, but as you’ll see, it’s well worth it.
Step 2
Once you’re approved and receive your card, make sure to spend $4,000 in the first three (3) months of activating the card.
Once you spend the required minimum, Capital One will credit your account with the $750 travel credit bonus. Plus, you’ll have already earned an additional $80 in travel credit from the money you spent to reach that bonus minimum.
$750 is great. But there’s more.
Step 3
Now that you’re a Capital One member. You will be given a special referral link.
If you share this link with friends, and three of them apply and are approved, you’ll receive an additional $200 in travel credit per-person, for a maximum total of $500 per-year.
That’s 750 + 80 + 500 = $1,330
-$95 for the card’s annual fee.
